Connecticut Security Officer (Guard Card / White Card) Certification Course

Effective July 1, 2025, Blackhawk SERPA and SERPA-style holsters that engage or retain the firearm via the trigger guard are prohibited for use during this training.
If you plan to work as a licensed Security Officer in Connecticut, state law requires you
to complete an approved Basic Criminal Justice training course before applying for your
Security Officer Identification Card.
In accordance with Connecticut General Statute §29-161q, Grey Wolf Consulting
provides the mandatory training required for security officer licensing. Our course is
taught by a State of Connecticut-approved Criminal Justice Instructor and meets or
exceeds the standards established by the Connecticut Department of Emergency Services
and Public Protection (DESPP).
