THIS PROGRAM IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED PRIOR TO ATTENDING THE FULL CT. BLUE CARD CERTIFICATION COURSE

Due to recent and significant regulatory changes made by the State of Connecticut in relation to Armed Security Officers and are now required by ALL STATE INSTRUCTORS, this program is now being strongly encouraged for all individuals who are either currently preparing to attend their initial CT. Blue Card Certification or are currently certified and are subject to Annual Re-Certification.

The main thrust of this regulatory change is found within the live fire qualification course which is now significantly more challenging than many are familiar with and as a result the potential for failure is significantly increased, which can lead to “De-Certification” of the individual and therefore the inability to remain employed as an Armed Security Officer within the State of Connecticut.

In an effort to prevent this situation from occurring, Grey Wolf Consulting, LLC has completely modified our CT. Blue Card Preparatory Class to both train and help prepare the participant to successfully complete this new live fire qualification course when required.

This program will utilize a method of instruction known as “Saturation Training” and during the training cycle corrections and adjustments will be made to help ensure the best possible results from the student.

  As of July 1st 2025 – Blackhawk Serpa and Serpa style Holsters that engage and retain off the trigger housing. 

Students must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start of their seminar. Late arrivals, defined as those not present at the exact start time, will be denied entry and will forfeit their tuition. This policy is strictly enforced to maintain the integrity and schedule of the training sessions.

Participants within this program will be required to bring a minimum of 500 rnds of ammunition to the class.
